Important Facts and Company Policies
- Safety is paramount with our paratransit/tour service.
- All passengers must sign the general release of liability and follow all safety rules.
- All passengers including employees must be seated and use seat belts while the vehicle is in motion.
- No smoking will be permitted in the vehicle.
- No use of recreational or illegal substances by passengers or staff.
- Vehicle will always be parked in a safe spot for loading and unloading of passengers.
- Wheelchair locks and safety belts must be used when wheelchair person is on the elevator and is operating either up or down.
- All tie downs, seat/shoulder belts must be used by wheelchair person.
- Wheelchair person will not be left unattended without their permission.
- Passengers travel at their own risk. An attendant or request one from Vaya con Silla de Ruedas must accompany Person(s) requiring special or additional assistance.
- A parent or responsible person at least 18 years old must accompany children under 12 years old.
- Reservations are recommended. TOURS ARE BASED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
(a.) 50% $US deposit is required to reserve and guarantee tour.
(b.) Final 50% payment is payable and due upon completion of the tour.
*Please note that we only accept $US or Costa Rican colones as payment. Checks will only be accepted as deposits provided that they will arrive 45 days in advance of the tour. Sorry no travelers checks or credit cards.
- Seventy-two hour advance notice required for cancellations. Loss of deposit or a no show fee will be charged for failure to notify.
- Vaya con Silla de Ruedas is allowed up to 1/2 hour before being considered late.
- Driver may wait up to 1/2 hour beyond scheduled time of pick up.
